There is no wealth like knowledge, and no poverty like ignorance. – Buddha
Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another. We at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-21C, Faridabad believe in developing and evolving together, and learn from each other’s strengths and develop new capacities for action, it is about creating learning processes.
With this objective in mind, Ms. Karishma Agarwal, Vocal Music teacher took a session on “Music as Therapy” for the faculty members of the school. She informed everyone how music can be healing agent practically in every aspect of life. Music has a strong and immediate influence over emotions, coupled with its ability to naturally increase neurochemicals, including “feel good” endorphins. Musical interventions help naturally decrease conditions like anxiety, depression, and low blood pressure to name a few. It ignites creativity, improves communication among people, and much more. A music session can help achieve improvement in personal well-being without the reliance on medicines.
Overall, it was an interesting and enriching session.
