The Amphitheatre was exuding with the energy of the little stars of KG who presented an incredible Theme Assembly today at MRIS 21C Faridabad. They participated with much zeal and enthusiasm which was clearly evident on the stage. The vibrant and colourful costumes of the children added to the sparkle. Esteemed dignitaries to grace the occasion with their presence were Maj. Gen. Avasthi (Advisor – Dental and Applied Sciences – MRDC), Mr. Mukesh Gambhir (Director Radio Manav Rachna) and Ms. Simmy Wolfe (Paragon Implementation Specialist). Ms. Nandini A Pillai (Early Years Coordinator) welcomed the guests very warmly.
The Assembly commenced with the Gayatri Mantra and the Lighting of the Lamp to seek the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a minute’s silence as a Tribute to our dear Late Dr. O.P. Bhalla – the Father of the MRIS family – who will always be present in spirit with us. Mrs. Ikwinder S. Singh (Principal, MRIS 21C Faridabad) gave the Welcome Address in which she encouraged the parents to be role-models for the children. She threw some light on the Early Years Simulation wherein she urged the parents to help the child in social and emotional stimulations while keeping them grounded to our roots along with progression towards modernity.
The children showcased presentations based on what they have learnt at school so far. The presentations ranged from ‘Buyology’ to a Presentation on ‘Barter System’ and ‘Shopping’, ‘The Journey of Learning’ through which the children informed the parents what they had learnt in the various centers at school, ‘The Renaissance World’ – A Presentation based on Paragon Unit IV, ‘Let’s Celebrate a Meaningful Diwali’ and ‘Hansel and Gretel’ – A Presentation based on ‘Houses and Homes’ and ‘Family and Friends’.
The parents and guests were amazed at the confidence of the little stars. The highlight of the Assembly was the 100% participation. Maj. Gen. Avasthi congratulated the entire team of MRIS 21C for putting up a wonderful assembly. He advised the parents to build upon the value-system at home and also said that grandparents play a very important role in a child’s life. Mr. Mukesh Gambhir appreciated the performances of the children and said that if children at this age are so confident, then sky is the limit for them. He also applauded the dedication of the Principal and the teachers towards the school and the children. Ms. Simmy Wolfe congratulated everyone for having
