The wood crackles and burns, the fire blazes high, a circle of warmth on a cold winter night!
Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Students and Teachers on 13th January 2017 at the School premises. The Students presented enchanting Punjabi dances- Gidda and Bhangra. They were explained the significance of Lohri celebration and rituals attached to it.
Bonfire was lit and everybody offered popcorn, peanuts and rewari to the sacred fire. Lohri is a joyous time to eat, sing songs, perform dance and share the warmth with family and loved ones. Everyone present enjoyed the warmth of the bonfire, Prasad of popcorn, peanuts and rewari. On the occasion of Lohri, the NCO Medal winners and their mentors were also appreciated.
