Children’s Day (Day -3) celebrations @ MRIS-21C, Faridabad

We, at MRIS 21C Faridabad, believe that it is our privilege to be a part of children’s lives and to be able to celebrate Children’s Day with them. We had a fun-filled day today with our little stars. The day began with our little ones being crowned with “I am Special!” crowns.

In order to sensitize them towards the same, the Circle Time discussion comprised of the children introspecting about their strengths and weaknesses as well as being grateful for all that they have. The teachers also encouraged them to think about what they’d like to change around them. In order to inculcate the value of sharing in our children, they had brought a chocolate each, gift wrapped in newspaper (since it is bio-degradable and paper is being reused). A chocolate gift corner was set up in each class and the children took one chocolate from the corner as a gift from their classmates. It is essential to encourage such gestures amongst our little ones. The children enjoyed playing games and the day ended with a jam session. It was a day packed with fun and learning…a day to remember! Due to the prevailing weather conditions students of Primary also celebrated children’s day in their classes. Grade I and II were told to express themselves on the topic of their choice through paint and brush whereas Grade IV and V were given some specific topics.
