The celebrations of auspicious Teacher’s Day commenced with invoking blessings followed by dance drama based on value of guru and parents in one’s life. The students thanked their mentors for all the guidance and care they bestow on them. An assembly was also presented by the students depicting their gratitude and love for their teachers. Students explained the meaning and significance of the presence of Guru in one’s life. Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director-MRIS and Faculty of Education, MRU also congratulated teachers and motivated them to do their best as they have such an important role in shaping a child’s character. Her presence added special charm to the whole celebrations. All in all it was an enjoyable and enriching day for the teachers and students.
