An educational visit to Eureka Fest held in Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad was organized by Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14 Faridabad to create awareness among students about innovations in the field of science and technology.

Students displayed many fascinating science projects. There were many ingenious ideas including a jacket for the blind comprising a circuit and a sensor which beeps when it senses obstacles in front of it. A comfort rickshaw was also demonstrated which was made from a simple bicycle, consisting a dustbin and a water cooler system. A series of scientific and mathematical experiments were presented. A mind popping infinity tunnel received a good share of everyone’s attention.

There was also a presentation based on the monument Brahma Disc which made students familiar with the Indian mythology and the history of our nation. Many fun activities including quizzes based on astronomy, comet making and hydro rocket were also conducted.

After these illustrations and activities, a Science Demonstration Lecture (SDL) was conducted by the experts from the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI).

Students acquired new skills which opened many new vistas of knowledge and awareness.
