‘Hurray! It’s a holiday’

As the much awaited summer break has begun, students of grade IV-VI conducted an assembly on the theme – Holidays at MRIS Sector 14.

It began with the prayer followed by News and the weather report and the thought of the day. After that students recited a poem – ‘Chuttion ka paigam’ highlighting the essence of holidays. It was followed by a play and a melodious song – ‘Hurray! It’s a holiday’ depicting their excitement for the upcoming summer break.

The Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa and the Jr. School Head Ms. Shalini Bindra graced the occasion and gave away the prizes to the students holding prestigious positions in various Inter School Events.

The programme came to an end by the valuable advice given by our worthy Principal Ma’am on how to use the summer break judiciously.
