To expose our children to the raw, ethnic village setup the MRIS-14, Faridabad had organized a fun day out with the Students of Grade IV, V, VI, VII and VIII at Lohagarh Farms, Gurugram which is an ethnic village farm where the children had genuine rural and cultural heritage experience.
They exposed their excitement during Kite Flying, Tug of War, Trampoline, and Pottery making. The girls had a great time dressing up in Rajasthani attire and rolling the chakki and charkha. They learnt how cloth is woven from the charkha and how grains are put in the chakki and flour is made. They had also put henna. The highlight of the trip was different rides (camel, camel cart, and tractor ride).
Other activities that grabbed the attention of the Students were large Commando Net, Low rope activities like Double Cable, Burma Bridge, Monkey Crawling, Balance walk, Commando Crawl, Beam Balancing, Cat Walk, Double Rope Bridge, Monkey Crawl, Rope Climb
