India’s 68th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Manav Rachna International School, Sector-14, Faridabad. The day commenced with great reverence as the Students pledged to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is ‘India’. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brought the stage alive with their passion for their motherland. The whole school was decorated in tri-colour.

A plethora of patriotic dances were presented by the eager students of grade V-D. It was followed by a talk show emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and the formation of the constitution of India. The emblem was read and oath was taken to follow the rules and regulations. The street play highlighted our fundamental rights and duties. Grade I staged the play on Swachch Bharat Abhiyan and Grade III E and F made the audience aware of the difference between Independence Day and the Republic Day through a musical dance drama. The early year students were engrossed in tri-colour flags and sang patriotic songs.
