Sports festival- Olmpia 5 Flock-A-Thon Mris celebrating pinnacle of ten years of success.
Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.
Manav Rachna International School, Sector 14, continued celebrating its glorious ten years of success with and the much awaited Annual Sports Day which was held on Satuday, 24th February. The fantastic turnout from theparents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students on their very first sport day.
The honorary chief guest, Mr Dhruv Gautam, as a celebrated young icon of Roller Skating and President MREI, Dr Prashant Bhalla with other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The event commenced with illuminating prayer in praise of the almighty lord followed by Olympia Torch ceremony which ignited the students with true sportsmanship. The little cadets entered the spirit of the occasion through a March Past followed by the oath ceremony which fiiled everyones heart with oodles of power, commitment and sport spirit.
In between every act we had our young budding orators who enriched us with Bird Trivia.
The Mascot for the event, Peehu the Peacock got good luck to the event and mesmerized everyone with its beauty and charm. It left the audience in high spirits.
Spectacular dance and drill performances by the little kids left everyone entertained and exuberant.
The highlights of the even, the fun races began with cheers and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of Early Years participated in the myriad of fun races and exhibited great zest and zeal. It was treat to the eyes to watch our children enjoying the race rather than competing with each other.
The efforts and participation of the students were acknowledged and the winners were awarded graciously by our dignitaries. The magnificent performance by our youngest bunch of toddlers who performed for the very first time infront of the audience took everyones heart away.
The Closing finale dance was the icing on the cake for the event.
The enthusiastic and energetic parent participated in the races and showcased their continued love for sports which brought a big smile to their little ones as well.
The hardwork and perseverance of the students and the untiring of all the teachers made the occasion a a great success.
