Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14 (MRIS-14) celebrated its 10-year Annual Day Function: ‘Exuberance 2017’ on December 14 & 15. The second day of the function was presided by the Chief Guest- Dr. Outi Kallioinen, Ex-President, Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Finland; Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI); and Ms. Jasmine Sehgal, Judge Supreme Court. Also present on the occasion were Dr. M. M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Ms. Deepika Bhalla, Executive Director, MRIS-14; Mrs. Lakhani; and Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI.
Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, Principal, MRIS-14 extended her gratitude to all the parents, faculty and stakeholders who have always supported the growth of the institution. She presented the 10-year report recounting all the awards and appreciations; the school has received so far.
All the dignitaries released the ‘Chronicle’, a coffee table book that was a beautiful compilation of the 10-year journey of the school.
Dr. Outi appreciated the pedagogy of Manav Rachna International Schools and expressed her joy that MRIS promotes a ‘Happy Learning Environment’. Dr. Prashant Bhalla encouraged the young students to boldly pursue their dreams and be relentless in their quest for excellence. He said, “We are aiming to build an institution that is recognized worldwide”.
‘Dot Com Returns’, a spirited theatrical presentation on the disappointment and problems faced by a modern child, was presented by the students of the school. The performance also echoed the importance of women empowerment across all sectors of society.
To define the principles of universal peace and brotherhood in the grand finale, the dance troupe of MRIS-14 amazed the parents with their performance, manifesting the message: ‘Vasudev Kutumbakum’, meaning the world is one family.
