Celebrating the spirit of innovation and research amongst the future leaders of tomorrow, INNOSKILL 2018 offered a platform to the young tech-geeks to showcase their creativity and ingenuity in a bevy of riveting games and challenges. Venturing out-of-the-box and competing head to head in a bid to unfurl their passion and interests in aero-modelling, engineering, Lego race championships and more, the portals of MRIIRS witnessed the students across all branches of MRIS putting their best foot forward to ace the race to the finish line. In a commendable display of team spirit, leadership and presentation skills, Team MRIS-14 received top honors in a wide array of contests.
While Arindam Mohan Sinha of Grade-X of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14, Faridabad bagged the first position in the Water Rocket Challenge, the group efforts of Parth Sethi, Armaan Parnami and Jeevansh Mehta of Grade-X earned them the second position in Robo Race as they skillfully maneuvered their remote-controlled trucks through serpentine road tracks. Walking the ramp with aplomb, Royallika Ahuja of Grade-IV won hearts and accolades galore, securing her the much-deserved win and second position in Techno-Vogue. Upholding the cause of the preservation of environment, Team MRIS-14 comprising Ishman Singh of Grade V, Royallika and Akshit Aggarwal of Class IV, and Ojas Singh of Grade III put on their thinking caps and drilled their grey cells to victory as they created the Best out of Waste, earning their spectacular creations the second position. Rishit Mittal and Rachit Bhatia of Grade-X clinched the coveted trophy and secured the second position by enamoring those present with their deft presentation of their project model in Tech-Sol.
Propelling the youth to think beyond the familiar and exploring the symbiotic amalgam of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics [STEM], the event inspired all to not only hone their multiple skill-sets but also pique their curiosity about their surroundings, and embrace their passion for innovation with renewed fervor and enthusiasm.
