“Play is the only way the highest intelligence of humankind can unfold”

Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is very important for healthy brain development as well. Keeping the same in mind, MRIS Charmwood has come up with a “Play Station” for Students of Early Years (Toddlers to KG) that gives them complete experiential learning exposure.

The area has zones like Junior Engineers, Little Excavators, Pretend Play, Cook and Serve, Nursing Station, Personal G

rooming and Supermart. Our Early Years champs have been elated to experience the new area that has been designed to cater to their kinesthetic and intellectual needs.

Children have been having a great time — they are pouring and splashing water, squishing sand in the little excavators zone, pretending to be master chefs and serving food to their friends, putting grocery items in the trolley and going to the billing counter with credit cards and money in their wallets to learn how purchases are made. The ‘Nursing Station’ is their favourite zone, where the children love taking care of the little baby in the crib.
