The students of Grade II Shivalik and Grade II Europe presented a soulful assembly on Gurupurab in the School recently. The programme started with a talk on all the Sikh gurus–with an emphasis on Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his family. The students then presented a ‘Prabhat Pheri’ followed by ‘Shabad Kirtan’.

The audience was then educated about the significance of the Golden Temple, Amritsar. The students also enacted ‘Sacchi Kamai’—a one act play. Ryan Nangia, a student of Grade IV was felicitated for winning the second position along with one silver and one bronze medal and two certificates at the Inter-school Roller Skating Competition organized by CBSE. Ryan has now qualified for the national level. Director Principal, Ms Sanyogita Sharma and Headmistress, Early Years and Primary wings, Ms Jyoti Bhalla, congratulated the students and teachers on the occasion of Gurupurab and asked everyone to follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s principles of  brotherhood, peace and unity.
