The students of Early Years at MRIS-Charmwood had a fun-filled day as it was a day of double celebration — Children’s Day and Gurupurab.
The young stars were welcomed to School with picture sessions at the photo corner created for the occasion. The children then attended an assembly, where they were told about the significance of Children’s Day as well as Gurupurab, which is the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students of Nursery and KG presented beautiful dance performances as well as a skit to celebrate both the occasions. The highlight of the assembly was an energetic dance presentation by Nursery teachers for their beloved students.
Headmistress, Early Years and Primary wings, Ms Jyoti Bhalla, congratulated the students and teachers on the occasion of Children’s Day and Gurupurab. She emphasized how MRIS was doing its best to provide children a safe, secure and loving environment and encouraged everyone to make the institution a ‘Happy School’.
