The students of Manv Rachna International School, Charmwood Village brought laurels to the school by securing 3rd position in the Inter School Speech Competition held at Rawal Public School, Ballabgarh on 19th November, 2016. With more than 37 schools participating, Priyal Kapoor of class 8 secured 3rd position in the Junior Category. She spoke effectively on the topic, ‘Sports policies should be amended for Olympics’ and made a lasting impression on the judges with her simple yet powerful message, “Sports policies should just not be amended with hollow plans and empty promises. They should mean business, be it policies, perception, or revolution.”

Shrika Nambiyar of grade 5 won the consolation prize in the Primary category with her topic, ‘Can Technology replace school bags?’

Manav Rachna International School has always believed in encouraging its students to participate in different events. The Speech Competition held at Rawal Public School provided them a platform to express their opinions in a constructive, academic setting. Such competitions also aim at developing their communication, reasoning skills and also aim at exploring new perspectives, attitudes and ideas.
