Let’s get theatrical – a two day long Inter Manav Rachna International Schools Drama Competition was inaugurated today at the Manav Rachna Campus by Smt. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions. She urged everyone present to encourage all the participants as they have worked extremely hard to put up this show.
The event commenced with Manav Rachna International School, Sector-14, Faridabad performing a play named ‘Shikshantar- Ek Nayi Soch’. They beautifully showcased a dream sequence of a little boy and how he realizes the importance of Education in progress of the Nation. Thereafter, MRIS-46, Gurugram performed an action oriented play named ‘Nishabd Hahakaar’ depicting the Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan- an initiative of our Hon’ble Prime Minister. They sensitized the audience about the importance of River Ganga and also revealed the role of humans in polluting the Holy River. They concluded with the slogan ‘Stopping Pollution is the best Solution.’
The Students of MRIS-21C, Faridabad, enthralled the audience by enacting a play on ‘Women Empowerment’. Their act raised significant issues like Female foeticide, Eve-teasing, Acid attacks, and Gender equality to name a few, further suggesting that Education is the only solution to such problems. Subsequently, Students of MRIS-51, Gurugram enacted a play ‘MayaJaal- Sach ya Bharam’ depicting how materialistic things hold utmost importance in our lives, however, they are not everything.
While all the Schools performed magnificently and enthusiastically, the results would be declared tomorrow after the performance of MRIS- Charmwood and MRIS-Noida.
