The Parker Solar Probe rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida on August 12, 2018. The probe is set to become the fastest-moving man made object in history, flying at speeds of up to 692018 KMH withstanding temperatures of millions of degrees Celsius. Its data promises to crack longstanding mysteries about the Sun’s behavior.
The students and the CREST faculty of the school took the opportunity extended by NASA to send entries of names which would be uploaded on a memory card to be sent aboard Parker Solar Probe.
Many students across different grades got their HOT TICKET.
